Monisha + Anshul // Love at the Charles
As a wedding planner, I have had the privilege of working with many couples to create their dream weddings. However, Monisha and Anshul's wedding day at the Royal Sonesta was truly one for the books. From the stunning waterfront backdrop of the Charles River to the traditional Hindu ceremony, every detail of their special day was simply breathtaking.
The day started off with the groom and his groomsmen arriving by boat for the baraat. It was a beautiful sight to see the boat slowly making its way towards the venue with the groom and his entourage, all dressed in their traditional wedding attire, dancing and celebrating on the deck. The bride and her family were waiting at the entrance of the venue to welcome the groom and his family with open arms.
The Hindu ceremony, which followed the baraat, was truly a sight to behold. The couple chose to have a traditional ceremony with 7 pheras, which symbolize the seven promises that the bride and groom make to each other. The mandap, which was set up on the lawn overlooking the Charles River, was decorated with beautiful flowers and traditional Indian motifs. It was a truly stunning backdrop for the ceremony.
After the ceremony, guests were invited to the cocktail hour, which took place on the terrace overlooking the water. The couple had chosen a beautiful color scheme of gold and white, which complemented the natural beauty of the venue perfectly. Guests enjoyed delicious cocktails and hors d'oeuvres while taking in the stunning views of the Charles River.
Finally, it was time for the dinner reception. The ballroom had been transformed into a magical wonderland, with twinkling lights and beautiful floral centerpieces. The couple's first dance was a truly magical moment, with the Charles River glistening in the background. The couple then enjoyed a delicious meal with their guests, followed by heartfelt speeches and dancing.

Overall, Monisha and Anshul's wedding day at the Royal Sonesta was a true celebration of love and tradition. From the baraat to the Hindu ceremony, to the elegant reception, every detail was executed perfectly. It was an honor to be a part of their special day, and I wish them a lifetime of love and happiness.
