Destination Wedding in Paradise: Akshay and Hiral Tie the Knot in Cancun!
We at Mint To Be Events were thrilled to handle the travel and logistics for Akshay and Hiral's stunning 3-day wedding at the Royalton Suites Cancun Resort and Spa. As travel agents, our job was to ensure a seamless experience for the 200 guests traveling from all over the US and India.
Day 1 - Welcome Party: Guests arrived throughout the day and evening at Cancun International Airport. We had a team on hand to greet guests at the reservation desk. Guests were then greeted later that evening for a Welcome Party on the beach. The weather was perfect as guests caught up, mingled and danced the night away.
Day 2 - Grahashanti and Haldi Ceremony: The day started with the Grahashanti puja by the poolside patio. The color and splendor of the ladies haldi ceremony in the afternoon was a delight to witness. The sounds of laughter, singing and music set the perfect tone for the week's festivities.
The evening was capped off with a fun garba sangeet where family and friends danced the night away.
Day 3 - Wedding Day: The baraat began at the beach with the groom arriving on horseback accompanied by family and the Bollywood dancers. The mandap was set up at the end of the dock, providing a stunning backdrop for the ceremony. The ceremony was a beautiful blend of Indian traditions with a personal touch.
The reception followed at the Hacienda Sisal outdoor space allowing guests to enjoy the picturesque Cancun sunsets.
Final Relaxation: As guests slowly started heading to the airport for their departure flights, many stayed back to enjoy another day of rest and relaxation at the resort after the excitement of the wedding. Our team was on hand throughout the check out process to ensure a smooth departure for all guests.
