Today's blog is to walk through the amazing celebration of Akash and Priyanka. While our interaction with the couple was limited throughout the planning process, it was largely the father of the groom, Anant Agarwal of whom was our primary contact. Mr. Agarwal is no stranger to the New England community. He is a renowned professor at MIT and the CEO of eDX, just to mention a few of his accolades. Most recently, in 2018 he was the recipient of of the prestigious Yidan prize. It was only fitting that when his son, Akash proposed to his beautiful fiancé (at the time), Mr. Agarwal realized that the wedding functions will be hosted in Texas as this is where the bride's family is from. This left a void as many local friends and family (primarily due to covid and travel restrictions) would not be able to participate in the wedding events. To extend the celebration, Mr. Agarwal reached out to us to help cap the union between this gorgeous duo. While it had the local flair, we also had to make sure that the bride side was welcomed with some level of grandiose. As they say, everything is big in Texas, and so we had to follow suit.

As this was a reception only, our amazing photographer took the newly weds away for a few quick clicks prior to the event at various spots at the Boston Burlington Marriott.

Before doors opened, our leader planner and founder reviewed the agenda with the family. The introductions were such that each group had their own skits and performance as they walked in.

Finishing touches were put on all the centerpieces. Check out the amazing use of florals by OLuxe designs.

The mother of the Groom greeting guests during dinner, which was catered by Masala Art. Notice the two large projector screens in the background where BSL projected fond memories of the bride and groom, including the wedding celebrations in Texas.
