A Grand 4-Day Gujarati Wedding Extravaganza at Hyatt Ziva, Punta Cana

There’s something about destination weddings that's incredibly enchanting. The excitement of travel, the exotic location, and the joy of bringing together two families in a unique and memorable way is unparalleled. We have been blessed to witness and orchestrate many weddings, but Mohini and Sahil's 4-day Gujarati wedding at the Hyatt Zivain Punta Cana was truly a spectacle to behold.

Day 1: The Mehendi Function at the Pool Cabanas

The festivities kicked off with a vibrant Mehendi function at the pool cabanas. The tropical backdrop of Hyatt Ziva was adorned with a splash of vivid colors and traditional Gujarati décor. As the sun set, the cabanas were lit up with fairy lights, casting a magical glow on the ceremony.

Mohini looked radiant in her floral lehenga, her hands adorned with intricate henna designs, while Sahil complemented her in a chic kurta. The guests reveled in the fun, with laughter and music filling the air. A beautiful start to the 4-day celebration!

Day 2: Pithi on the Rooftop & The Sangeet

The second day dawned with a heartwarming Pithi ceremony on the rooftop, overlooking the vast Caribbean. The turquoise waters provided a serene contrast to the lively ceremony, an emblem of the couple's journey ahead. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a leisurely afternoon, soaking up the sun and the stunning views.

As the evening unfolded, the ambiance shifted to jubilation with the Sangeet. A grand stage set against the spectacular ocean view made for an unforgettable setting. Family and friends put on energetic performances, dancing late into the night under the star-studded sky.

Day 3: The Baraat and Ceremony

Day three began with the spirited Baraat. Sahil arrived, riding on a horse, amidst the cheers and dance of the procession. The energy was contagious, setting the tone for the rest of the day.

The wedding ceremony was a blend of tradition and elegance. Held at a mandap beautifully decorated with flowers, overlooking the ocean, the couple exchanged vows surrounded by their loved ones. The setting sun and the sound of the waves in the background added a touch of enchantment to the ceremony.

Day 4: The Reception

The final day was the grand reception. The venue was transformed into a dreamy space with twinkling lights, cascading flowers, and elegant table settings. The newlyweds made a grand entrance, and the night was filled with heartfelt speeches, laughter, and lots of dancing.
