Karuna + Dan // Southern Comfort

August 19, 2019

When you have a South Indian beauty in Karuna, and a Southern charm of a groom from South Carolina (meet Dan), you have one adorable couple.  Below, let us take you thru a journey along with some amazing vendor friends of Karuna and Dan at the Boston Park Plaza.

If you wanted to cheat, and get the teaser synopsis, check out the amazing trailer from our friends at Fern & Feather (Neal and Thuy).

The first night was the sangeet held in the brand new Avenue 34 ballroom at the Boston Park Plaza.

The sangeet included various performances, including one from the groom himself.  Alankar decor set the perform backdrop, and DJ Jay Thakrar and DJ Sidd were holding the music down from Boston Sound and Light Company.

The next day our bride and groom got up early to get ready for their big day.

And they certainly outpoured their love in their first look at the Boston Commons.

DJ Yogz and Little K joined DJ Jay Thakrar and Dholi Ravi for the baraat as they shut down one of the main streets in Boston.

Our groom hovered over everybody on top of his horse.

Our bride came out for a quick peak and cheered the groom and his family on.

The families then preceded into the ballroom, and it was time for Karuna and Dan to get married.

While the guests enjoyed cocktail hour, Karuna and Dan snuck away to catch a moment.

We urged them back in, and quickly introduced them for their reception.

Their first dance and parent dances ensued soon after.

And DJ Jay Thakrar and Dholi Ravi rocked the night away.
