Nishat + Quazi // Vietnamese Bengali Pakistani infusion

At Mint To Be Events, we try to be as socially active as we possibly can. However the bar is set really high when you have New England's highest Instagram's "influencer". Meet Nishat, our Instagram bride, and her handsome husband, Quazi as we dive into their social connection through our little blog.

If you want to jump ahead, please watch the teaser above created by our friends at Move Mountains Co.

Quazi's family is from Pakistan. Nishat is half Vietnamese and half Bangladeshi. And so, the culture meshing over the two days was one for the ages.

The first night was the sangeet, which followed one rule, and that was to get to know each other. The bride's cousin, Sham (a renowned singer and producer) shared the MC'ing duties with Boston Sound and Light Company's DJ Yogz.

The next day our couple got up early to get ready for their reception.

Quazi finished first, and waited patiently for his bride.

We then preceded to the ceremony on the gorgeous lawn at the Lake Pearl.

Here comes the bride...

And they are married...

As Quazi tried to enter into his own reception, he was mobbed by the bride side.

The groom side made it rain!

And the party begins...

The dry ice, TVs, animated gobo, premiere sound and lighting was provided by Boston Sound and Light Company. And of course DJ Dee, Dholi Amar and DJ Yogz rocked the house.

Bengali traditions continue...

And they danced the night away.

This production would not have been possible without the help of our amazing vendors:
