Maya + Cheyenne | a scientific revelation

Today we will like to welcome you to an amazing two day wedding of two martial artists, Maya and Cheyenne. This fusion wedding is not only a fusion that defines a merger of culture, but karate chops anything that gets in the way of love. This amazing couple reached out to Mint To Be Events a year before their celebration, wanting an extravagant, musically filled, floral dominating, and intellectually pleasing celebration. We worked tirelessly with not only them but with family from abroad in making this masterpiece come true.

Mint To Be Events

The sangeet started off at the Royal Sonesta in Cambridge. Maya and Cheyenne wanted a cocktail style sangeet. Wavy couches, belly dancers, and a ton of music. Just check out these amazing photos from our friends at Fern and Feather.

Boston Sound and Light Company provided the right balancing of lighting, and laid out their white dance floor to match the room decor.

Of course our brides snuck out to the esplanade to catch a quick laugh together before the party started.

And then the party began...

The next day our amazing brides woke up early to prep for their ceremony, but lets jump to their first look.

The ceremony was held in the pavilion of the Museum of Science overlooking the infamous Red Line bridge of the Charles.

We had Maya's family tour the Charles River on a Duck boat, and as they came off of the duck boat, DJ JT, Dee and Dholi Amar with their Mercedes SUV were waiting for them with an onslaught of baraat music.

We then proceeded to the ceremony.

The story goes, they met at a martial arts class, and Maya cracked a plank of wood over Cheyenne's head, and so they reenacted their official first date.

We then took the party inside. Dinosaurs, Electricity, Spaceships or MY!

Boston Sound and Light Company provided their Mirror booth, LED Black Starlit, Moving heads, blue uplighting, pattern lights, and a nonstop extravaganza that had both families rocking until the doors opened to the general public.

Special shout out to one of our amazing friends and favorites, Fern and Feather (Thuy, you are awesome).
