Jessica & Mark's Hindu/Christian Wedding

Outdoor summer weddings are beautiful! (other than the fact that weather in Boston area can be very unpredictable) however Jessica and Mark ended up lucking out on their bright sunny wedding day.

Jessica and Mark met in high school and have been together ever since. Jessica is studying to become a physician at Dartmouth Medical School and Mark in the business world. Their Indian-Trinidadian, Afro-Caribbean, Caucasian, and American Indian roots were blended together to create a unique wedding with 2 ceremonies, some Caribbean jams, and of course lots of dancing.

Hair and Makeup by the talented Sierra Madisen Cosmetics and Chiquana Anuken.

Jessica and Mark’s wedding took place at the Nahant Country Club. The ceremony was conducted on the lawn and gazebo space with simple yet elegant draping. The actual ceremony took place directly in front of the gazebo to allow all guests to clearly view the beautiful bride and groom. They celebrated with a Hindu ceremony followed by Christian ceremony. They felt very strongly on having a multicultural, multi-faith wedding that represented all of their faiths and backgrounds.

(Guests were asked to blow bubbles at the bridal party during the recessional - how fun!)

After the ceremony, the guests made their way to cocktail hour, which had a live Caribbean steel drummer, Toby Tobas. Jessica and Mark took some fun photos with their family and friends.

Dinner and dancing followed into the ballroom where guests couldn’t stay off the dance floor! (Thanks to Boston Sound and Light).

Shoe game - YES! An easy, interactive, and fun way for the guests to get to know the couple better...and put the couple on the spot.

Big shout out to The Wedding Story for capturing these amazing photos and Choonri Collection for bridal/bridesmaids outfits.

Congrats to Jessica and Mark on their marriage. We love seeing families of different backgrounds and cultures come together for a joyous celebration!
