PC - Something out of the Ordinary!

There is nothing “typical” about the weddings we plan for our brides and grooms. We find a way to create a unique story which portrays their vision and their personalities. For our bride Pankhuri and groom Chris, simple, colorful, intimate, and peaceful was the theme.

As we were looking for the perfect venue, we decided to stay away from the hustling city and go towards a more serene ambiance. We found a beautiful mansion in Cape Cod that provided ample amount of outdoor space to host all their events. Very different from our typical approach to venue hunting. We decided to reach out to private home-owned mansions and estates vs. going through a Venue Coordinator or Banquet Manager. The mansion itself had a New England rustic charm and character to it.

Everyone stayed in the mansion overnight. There was no Chris' side or Pankhuri side. None of the separation between friends and family. Everyone was family and everyone was there together to honor Chris and Pankhuri! The smaller the affair, the more love there is to share!

The day started out with a beautiful outdoor Hindu ceremony. Luisa Disla from Luisa's Decorations did a fabulous job with the set up.

Pankhuri and Chris wanted to keep the ceremony traditional and did not see each other until Pankhuri walked down the aisle but still found a way to get pictures done before hand. Check out the below!

(Aren’t these photo ideas so cute!?)

Once the ceremony concluded (we were lucky that the rain held up), guests made their way into the tent for cocktail hour for delicious drinks and hors d'oeuvre by Lavishly Dunn catering. We had a feeling that the New England weather would not cooperate therefore we made sure that the tent was heated, thanks to Party Cape Cod for all the rentals.

The pinks & yellows brightened up the tent and provided a spring-like feel. DJ Krups from Boston Sound and Light created the perfect balance of music to make sure all guests were on the dance floor for the entire night.

Thank you Dyuti Majumdar from Art & Memories for being able to capture this wedding and allowing us to share their beautiful story!
