Snusha and Asheesh // Ride to Love

There are some that love to ride, in Asheesh's case, he rode to his love. In today's post we welcome you to take a ride with us on a journey reliving Snusha and Asheesh's beautiful wedding at the Boston Seaport Hotel. There was not short of intellectuals at this wedding, starting with our couple of whom are both in the field of education. Our handsome groom and his family come from the state of Punjab and our South Indian Queen and her family come from Africa. For both sides of the family, this was very much a destination wedding, and the couple sought our help plan a wedding of their dreams that incorporated a little bit of everything that represented them. (The infamous bike to be explained shortly...)

Feel free to watch the highlights from our friends at Films With Heart:

Or enjoy the ride through pics from @fernfeatherstudio from this amazing wedding.

The first night included a Mehendi Welcome party in the gorgeous Lighthouse ballroom which provided panoramic views of the Boston Harbor.

There was no formal program, but plenty to do; from getting your mehendi done...

To helping paint an African inspired canvas as a keepsake for the couple.

The next morning our hair and makeup stylists added some touches to our already drop dead gorgeous bride.

Shamima, our Mint To Be Lead planner helping the bride with her earrings.

The first look photos...

And then rolled in our Groom on his bike for his own baraat.

The bride joined the baraat straight onto Boston Sound and Light Company's pickup truck and showed everybody some moves.

Inside, OLuxe Events had put together a masterpiece of a mandap.

Immediately after the groom entered the ceremony, he had an enlightenment to go meditate in "kasi" for his Kasi Yatra.

After which the groom was welcomed by the bride for Garland exchanges.

The South Indian Oonjal ceremony.

While the bride was raised in Africa, and our groom being Punjabi, the ceremony was conducted with the rituals of the bride's family origins from South India.

And we got them married.

Later in the evening we escorted the bride and groom for their room reveal. Pictured below is Tanvi, the founder of Mint To Be Events bringing in our groom to see the room.

A couple of formal shots of the bride and groom before doors opened.

Check out this beauty posing in her African inspired head table.

Introducing for the first time husband and wife...

Not your typical first dance...

Followed by speeches, and of course dance performances.

And then the boys from BSL took over and the crowd danced the night away.
