Arjun + Naresh // A Union of Two Souls
A Beautiful Fusion: Naresh and Arjun's Same-Sex Indian Wedding in Boston
As a wedding planner, I have had the privilege of helping countless couples create their perfect day. But few weddings have been as memorable and meaningful as the recent four-day celebration of Naresh and Arjun's union. This same-sex Indian wedding was a beautiful testament to the power of love and the resilience of the human spirit. I am honored to share their story with you.

The Journey from New Orleans to Boston
Our team at Mint To Be Events was initially hired to help plan Naresh and Arjun's wedding in New Orleans. However, Hurricane Ida had other plans, forcing the couple to cancel their original celebration. Undeterred, we quickly pivoted and moved the entire event to Boston, ensuring that all the fanfare and every detail would be preserved, despite the tight timeline.
Day 1: Mehendi Function at Home
The festivities began with an intimate mehendi function at the couple's home. The vibrant colors and intricate henna designs were a beautiful symbol of their love, as friends and family gathered to celebrate and support their journey together.

Day 2: Welcome Party and Haldi
For the second night, we organized a chic welcome party in a Boston high-rise, giving guests a taste of the city's skyline and a chance to mingle before the main events. The atmosphere was electric, filled with anticipation for the days ahead.

Day 3: Sangeet at the Lighthouse Ballroom
The third day was a sangeet function at the Lighthouse Ballroom in the Seaport Hotel. The focal point of the evening was the bistro lighting, a key feature from their original New Orleans sangeet. The room was filled with laughter and dancing as friends and family performed and celebrated the couple's love story.
