Supria + Jay // As strong as Steel

Meet our amazing couple from July 4th weekend in 2019, Supria and Jay. This story is iron clad, just as the city they decided to get married in, Pittsburg (Pennsylvania). Our handsome groom Jay, donned a 007-like accent, and his family are from Tamil wherein India, his father is heavily involved in the hospitality business. Our gorgeous bride, Supria and her family represented the beauty and festiveness of being Punjabi. This story is where a South Indian marries a North Indian in Steel City!

While being Boston based, Mint To Be Events was hired by the couple as they had witnessed our work at their friends weddings in Boston. You may notice quite a few familiar faces from other blogs in the images below from our friends at Enmuse Photography.

After some of the home ceremonies, we made our way to the Wyndham Pittsburgh, where we helped planned their sangeet and wedding day.

As soon as the sangeet begin, it was right into food and performances.

The second day started off with a BSL kicking it into full gear for the Baraat.

Dholi Ravi from Boston Sound and Light Company took to the streets of Downtown Pittsburgh and rocked the Dhol!

Even our Bride joined in on the fun...

The families then made their way inside to begin the ceremony.

And doesn't this little princess of a flower girl just melt your heart?

After the ceremony, a quick ride in this sweet ride around Pittsburgh for their vidaai.

And the reception begins. Between the gorgeous decor and the breath taking lighting, we give both Sajawat and Boston Sound and Light Company much of the credit in making the reception look fantastic. BSL brought 90 uplights, 85 pinspots, Intelligent moving heads, premiere sound that shook the building (more to come regarding the sound), and a photo booth that kept people engaged through the entire night.
