Love at first Garba! #APMERGER

A girl from Brockton meets a boy from Chelmsford through mutual friends and it was a match made at Garba! Meet our handsome groom, Achal Shah - jovial, fun-loving, and mischievous. Our gorgeous M2B bride Payal Patel - loving, patient, and always has a smile on her face. And that's the right set of ingredients for a Long and Happy Married Life!

Achal & Payal's wedding was filled with a lot of dance, masti, and most importantly, love!

The decor for each event had a variety of fun elements to make it more festive. There was a vibrant rickshaw at the Garba Night so guests could take pictures on, (an old school favorite from India!) and a line of chaat stalls on carts that was used to serve food all night long. It took you right back to India and the illusion of being on the busy streets eating the rich and delicious foods while you garba the night away.

When you have a big wedding party, you know for a fact that entertainment is going to be over the top! Garba night was packed with 13 dance routines by sisters, cousins, brothers, aunts, uncles, and BFFs......holy moly so many people!. We had the guests hooting and whistling to thumkas and bhangras. The rest of the evening went sweating away to the steps of raas and clangs of dandiya.

Wedding day was bright, sunny and gorgeous! The baraat was rowdy and loud, it left everyone catching their breathes. Achal looked dashing in his ivory sherwani and maroon turban.

For the ceremony, the traditional colors of the outdoor mandap looked crisp against the serene Charles river backdrop. The hanging orchid chandelier and the gorgeous fresh florals against the lush green lawn created quite a beautiful contrast as guests made their way to grab refreshments and settle in for the ceremony to begin.

The bridal party dressed in ivory and gold tones looked divine. The bride looked ravishing in her red and gold lehenga with a beautiful gold blouse with delicate embroidery. Her make up was just enough to let her natural beauty shine through to give her the radiance of a new bride.

The cocktail hour was all about reminiscing about the journey of Achal & Payal through a slideshow as guests mingled and shared their most fun memories of the couple.

The reception was a stunning affair of peaches and purples. The best part of the reception was definitely the entrance of the bride and groom. And, what a fun entrance that was!!

When it comes to a wedding, beyond the celebrations and ceremonies, it is more about the union of two souls. The moment where two individuals come together to become one. This beautiful event marks the couple’s first step into a new phase of life filled with excitement, blessings, and togetherness. No matter what religion, sexuality, race or ethnicity, the emotions are always the same. And, that is what we at Mint To Be Events love about this one moment that lasts a lifetime!
